Minor Box Lacrosse Season

West Zone Shamrocks

What Can Lacrosse Do For You

In addition to being Canada’s National Summer Sport, lacrosse is also known as “the fastest game on two feet”.  Kids come to love the game’s fast pace and positive competition.  It is a great sport to improve or maintain fitness level and hand-eye coordination.  Its short season does not interfere with summer holidays, and compared with many other sports, it is inexpensive to register and equip.

WMLA emphasizes sportsmanship, skills, and teamwork.  All girls and boys are given a chance to participate on an equal level, regardless of size or ability.  WMLA encourages passing and team play. All our coaches are certified under Canadian Lacrosse Association rules, as are our game officials.
